You/Your business are a brand whether you like it or not
You might think branding is complicated. Itâs really not!
At its core, a brand is simply other peopleâs perception of your business. Thatâs it.
So branding is the process of intentionally influencing that perception.
I say, âintentionally,â because every time you do anything, you add to the perception. So by acting intentionally, you begin to push the direction toward the image you want.
Second thing to understand: you donât control your brand!
Itâs everyone elseâs perception that defines your brand. You donât control it, but you can influence it.
